Terms of Service

1. Who can use Pikok Adventures

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract to purchase credits or otherwise use the Service. Pikok Adventures is meant to be operated by an adult on behalf of a child — you’re responsible for the accuracy of any details (like a child’s name or age) you submit.

2. The Service

Pikok Adventures generates a personalized, illustrated children’s story as a downloadable PDF, based on the theme, language, and character details you provide. New users may generate one free story; further stories require purchasing a credit pack, shown with current pricing on our Pricing page. Story text is generated using Anthropic’s Claude, and illustrations are generated using Replicate’s image models — see our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Access links & accounts

Pikok Adventures doesn’t use traditional usernames and passwords. Instead, each purchase creates a private, unguessable access link tied to your remaining credits. Anyone with that link can use your credits, so keep it private — treat it like a password. If you provide an email at checkout, we’ll send you the link and can resend it later via the recovery page; if you don’t provide an email and lose your link, we have no way to recover your credits, so please save it somewhere safe.

4. Payments & pricing

All payments are processed securely by Braintree (a PayPal service), Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Prices are shown in USD at checkout and may change at any time for future purchases. By completing a purchase you authorize the charge for the selected credit pack.

5. Refunds & cancellations

Credits are digital content delivered immediately: as soon as you use a credit to generate a story, that generation is complete and non-refundable. If a story generation fails on our end, the credit is automatically returned to your balance — no request needed.

For unused credits, or where required by consumer-protection law in your country, contact support@pikokadventures.com and we’ll review refund requests case by case. By completing checkout, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you acknowledge that delivery of digital content begins immediately and you waive any statutory withdrawal / cooling-off period once a credit has been spent.

6. Acceptable use

When describing a child, characters, or a theme, you agree not to submit anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for a children’s product. We use automated filters to block or sanitize inputs and outputs that violate this rule, and we may log flagged submissions for safety review (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who repeatedly attempts to bypass these filters or otherwise misuses the Service.

7. Your content & ownership

You keep the rights to use, print, and share the personalized story you generate, for personal and family use. You’re responsible for making sure you have the right to use any names, descriptions, or details you submit. We don’t claim ownership over your personalized story, but we may use anonymized, aggregated usage data (not your story content) to improve the Service.

8. AI-generated content disclaimer

Stories and illustrations are generated by AI models and, despite our moderation efforts, may occasionally contain mistakes, inconsistencies, or unexpected phrasing or imagery. Please review a story before sharing or reading it with a child. Pikok Adventures is provided for entertainment purposes and isn’t reviewed by a human editor before delivery.

9. Our intellectual property

The Pikok Adventures name, logo, website, app, and underlying software are our property (or licensed to us) and are protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to our branding or code beyond what’s needed to use the Service normally.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service — including unused credits — if we reasonably believe you’ve violated these Terms, engaged in fraud (including payment fraud or chargebacks), or misused the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pikok Adventures is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally may be brought in the competent courts of Serbia — except that if mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence entitles you to bring a claim in your local courts, this section doesn’t take that right away.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We’ll update the "Last updated" date above; continuing to use Pikok Adventures after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
